Humanised, Riz is 4'5" (134cm) tall and weighs roughly 70lbs (31kg). While his hair retains its normal mossy green colour, his skin has become a pale pink, riddled with freckles. His ears have become human-sized, though the tips retain a bit of a point. He always has dark circles underneath his eyes from his chronic insomnia.
He's usually dressed in a full suit (slacks, button up shirt, tie, vest and jacket). He always, always wears a flat, herringbone cap. He dresses like a grandpa, if grandpa was forever stuck in an office. He also usually carries a black leather briefcase embossed with the letters T.B.
Underneath his cap, Riz has really good hair that resembles that of Timothee Chalamet, despite putting zero time and effort into it and using cheap three-in-one shampoo/conditioner/body-wash to clean it. This does not actually matter because you will not get to see his hair ever because he never takes his hat off. But Riz's hot hair is there, lurking underneath the hat.
In terms of physical marks, Riz has tons of freckles, on both his face and body. His torso and arms are also covered in memento style tattoos of seemingly unrelated phrases, words and names. He has a chest piece that says NIGHTYORB. All these tattoos are covered up by his normal manner of dress. His hands are covered in tons of healed scars, that look like his hands were dragged through broken glass.

Sarge used to belong to a client of Riz's. Riz took on his case, thinking Sarge had been stolen. Turned out, the client was just going through a super toxic divorce, and both people were willing to use everything to hurt the other, including poor Sarge. It ticked Riz off to see the poor pokemon so neglected by people who only cared about themselves, so he collected blackmail on each person involved and offered to trade it for Sarge.
Sarge had a different name before Riz adopted him, but it sucked, so Riz changed it to Sarge, who is named for the stereotypical old grumpy cop in cop shows.
Because Sarge is an older pokemon (he's going gray and everything), he will not be used in battle. Instead, he's just going to be Riz's companion and occasional couch.
In Paldea, Riz discovered that Sarge's Tera type is Dark
