COMMENTARY

Cryogonal appear during cold seasons. It is said that people and Pokémon who die on snowy mountains are reborn into these Pokémon.

Named after an Angel who Riz once met in Heaven and who gave him cool gear. Riz often shortens the name to I/Eye (like Q in James Bond movies)

Riz specifically set out to catch Isosceles to use in a future gym battle against Claire.

In Paldea, Riz discovered that Isosceles' Tera type is Ice

A long body or tentacles are used to bind and squeeze the foe for two to five turns.

The user concentrates intensely. The attack on the next turn always results in a critical hit.

The user flash freezes chunks of ice and hurls them at the target. This move always goes first.

The user makes its edges more jagged, which raises its Attack stat.

A spin attack that can also eliminate such moves as Bind, Wrap, Leech Seed, and Spikes.

The user attacks with a gust of chilled air. This also lowers the opposing Pokémon's Speed stats.

A self-healing move. The user restores its own HP by up to half of its max HP.

The target is struck with an icy-cold beam of energy. It may also freeze the target solid.

The user alters its cells to liquefy itself and sharply raise Defense.

Solar Beam; Grass; (Spec)

Strongest Grass-type attack. Energy is absorbed in the first turn, then fired on the next.

Triple Axel; Ice; (Phys) ^STAB Tutor

A consecutive three-kick attack that becomes more powerful with each successful hit.

Chilling Water; Water; (Spec) TM

The user attacks the target by showering it with water that's so cold it saps the target's power. This also lowers the target's Attack stat.

Toxic; Poison; (Stat) TM

A move that leaves the target badly poisoned. Its poison damage worsens every turn.
